The Mediterraneo turf begins to be removed to sow the winter grass

Works began after the match against Las Palmas. The first-team will now train at the Anexo training ground next to the stadium

As soon as the match between UD Almería and UD Las Palmas ended, the Royalverd employees began to remove the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium’s turf to sow the winter grass, an arduous work that has to be done in record time since UD Almería will play at home against Real Sociedad ‘B’ on 21 October. The company maintains the turf of the football pitches used by the Rojiblancos teams.

For this reason, the UD Almeria first team now moves their sessions to their training base, the Anexo training ground which has the winter grass ready. The resurfacing work was carried out during the previous weeks.

The Rojiblancos return to the Anexo this Sunday before having Monday off. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, UD Almería will also be exercising on the Anexo pitch, the last two footy practices taken place behind closed doors. On Friday, trip to North Spain and new fixture against Sociedad Deportiva Eibar (kick-off 9pm Spain Time).
