Maraš loaned out to Rayo Vallecano while Juan Ibiza and Vada end contracts

UD Almeria have reached an agreement with the three players on their departure from the Club

UD Almería have reached an agreement with central defender Nikola Maraš and Rayo Vallecano, so that the Serbian will play this season on loan at the Madrid-based newly promoted club. The 25-year-old player will meet his former UD Almeria team-mate Balliu with whom he played over the course of the last two campaigns as well as former Rojiblancos Saveljich and Pozo.

In addition, the Club has also reached an agreement with Juan Ibiza and Valentín Vada to terminate their contracts, so they will no longer play for UD Almería. The Ibiza native centre-back joined UD Almeria in the 2018/19 season from Villarreal CF and his deal was up in the current 2021/22 campaign, while the Argentinian midfielder, who signed in the 2019/20 season, was meant to stay for three more seasons.

With the departures of Maraš and Juan Ibiza, whom UD Almeria would like to thank for their professionalism and total commitment to the Club, the squad has been left with 4 centre-backs, since the team had an excess of footballers in this position.
