Almería fans keep on showing their support for the club owner and president, Turki Al-Sheikh, who is hospitalised in the United States. There were numerous followers who carried banners and posters with messages of support for the Saudi minister. Since he acquired the shares of the entity, the club continue taking steps forward day after day.
At the end of 2019, Almeria displayed a new stadium advertising format and two weeks ago the new LED lighting of the sports venue. After a large investment, the club showed during the Almeria-Elche game a much more powerful and quality PA sound by placing new speakers around the field. This is another initiative of the UD Almería to gradually improve the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, which had not undergone any refurbishment or upgrade since its inauguration back in 2004.
UD Almeria are also keen on carrying out activities that attract the fans and create a greater atmosphere; one more day a great tifo was deployed on the terraces, the mascot Rozam, throwing gifts into the stands and clapping hands were handed out to the spectators.
