CD Leganes’ visit will keep UD Almería on their toes

The Rojiblancos trained this Tuesday morning ahead of Friday's home fixture. Behind-closed-doors sessions on Wednesday and Thursday

UD Almería trained again to prepare for Friday's fixture versus CD Leganés at Juegos Mediterráneos (kick-off 9pm Spain Time/ Matchday 13). The Rojiblancos put in the work this Tuesday morning  ahead of this new league appointment because it will be a highly competitive game.

It is true that the next opponents nicknamed Pepineros are sitting 20th at the bottom of the table following a 5-week winless streak, yet the potential of their squad cannot be ignored because they are highly likely to react in the championship sooner rather than later. UD Almería will fight to their strengths to keep all three points at home. CD Leganés won in Miranda de Ebro and have drawn with SD Eibar and AD Alcorcón as visitors.

UD Almería will go all out to remain pacesetters in the second tier. This Tuesday, in the first training session of the week, the squad members worked thinking about Friday’s appointment although it will be this Wednesday and Thursday when they will prepare themselves behind closed doors to become even more tactically savvy. César de la Hoz, Samú Costa and Portillo, who have played their hearts out in the past few Matchdays, left the group earlier to carry on exercising in the gym.

On the other hand, all the injured players took to the pitch in order to do some specific work with the ball, including Robertone who also did some ball work. All of them are nearing the end of their respective recoveries.
