Almería Women eager to keep up good vibes

The Rojiblancas are playing their second away game versus La Rambla on Sunday (kick-off 12:30pm Spain Time)

After getting the 2021/22 season started on the right foot with a victory, Almeria Women are now looking forward to the second fixture keeping up the good vibes. The Indálicas will travel to Córdoba to face La Rambla on Sunday (kick-off 12:30 pm Spain Time).

Both sides will go into the game on the back of victories. The next adversaries have experience in this league and beat Granada ‘B’ 0-3 in their opening game, while UD Almería Women won over Olympia Las Rozas at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium in Almeria city.

The girls from Almeria have taken part in an intense training week working on the technical and tactical concepts that head coach Agustín Sánchez wants them to put into practice in each of the league appointments throughout the season.

Fatima talked to the UD Almeria official media and highlighted: ‘I hope we continue the same, winning again and that everything is reflected in the atmosphere.’

With regard to the squad list, Jessi will miss out as she is playing with the Spanish beach soccer team in the Women's Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal; in addition, she has yet to serve a one-game ban. The head coach cannot count on Pilar either and he will not announce the squad list in advance.
