Almería Women back in action after 10-day quarantine

The Rojiblancas, who are out of the relegation zone, visit Sevilla Women ‘B’ on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (Spain Time).

The UD Almería Women's team returned to training on Monday after staying in quarantine for 10 days since one player had tested positive for Covid-19. As nobody else within the squad has tested positive these days, the team led by Agustín Sánchez are back in training with their minds set on next Saturday’s game in Seville. The girls will be taking on Sevilla Women ‘B’ at the José Ramón Cisneros ground (kick-off 4:00 p.m. Spain Time).

Despite having a league meeting postponed due to Covid-19, in which Almeria Women will have to play Cadiz on 22 May away from home, the Rojiblancas will have to pull their socks up to avoid the drop as they are just one point clear of the relegation spots.

May will certainly be a busy, decisive month for Almería Women with four games ahead. The objective of the season is to stay up and continue competing in Primera Nacional Women's Division. The Indálicas will be making three trips while they will only play once at the Emilio Campra Stadium in Almeria. Almeria Women are travelling to Seville next weekend. Then, the girls will host Mérida AD. Next, they will get on a coach with Cadiz as a destination and finally, they will close out the campaign on the San Miguel pitch.
