Almeria U19 ‘A’ wrap up thumping win after brilliant game

The homegrown players beat Coria 5-2 to take a step forward towards Division de Honor safety

Football was fair at last with hard-working Almeria U19s ‘A’ to achieve positive results. The UD Almeria Academy side wrapped up a remarkable triumph within Group IV last weekend. As a result, the young Rojiblancos are now getting closer to Division de Honor safety. Apart from a brilliant performance, 5 goals courtesy of players Hugo -netted a brace-, Palomino, Abel and Jorge sealed victory over opponents Coria. This season a total of 10 teams will go down -8 Andalusian sides plus one side from Melilla and another from Ceuta, and therefore, outfits ranked from number 13 to last will move into Liga Nacional.

On another note, Almeria U19s ‘B’ suffered a defeat to Vera at the Los Angeles Sports Complex in Almeria. The visitors knew how to take advantage of their match-winning goal (0-1).

The Under-16s clinched two victories! Almeria U16 'A' edged their way past Granada (0-1) in an evenly matched contest and in which the effort was decisive in bagging all three points. In the same way, the U16 'B' Rojiblancos also won 3-2.

As for Almeria U14s ‘A’, the young ones played away from home and took a share of the spoils with Granada (1-1). Both teams merited a win, so it was a fair result. Although Almeria U14 ‘B’ had a few opportunities in front of goal to have changed the fate of the match, Malag a won 0-1 in the end.

Last but not least, Almeria U12 achieved an astounding victory again (5-0). Conejito de Malaga were the group that visited the homegrown players from Almeria, who showed their authority from the off.
