Almería train twice as hard in the scorching heat
This is the first time that head coach Rubi has all the available players on the pitch. Double sessions on Friday
Even though UD Almería had just a football practice scheduled for this Thursday morning, the players were put through their paces for more than two and a half hours of high intensity training. It was scorching hot at the Anexo training base, however the squad members were put through their paces and improved individual and team skills with extraordinary competitiveness participating in small-sided games.
This has been the first football practice of the 2021 pre-season in which all the Rojiblancos have been available to head coach Rubi. A total of 28 first-team players plus four Almeria ‘B’ regulars -Robles, Caballero, Juan Gutiérrez and Aitor Puñal- accomplished this intense morning training session. There are two more separate training sessions planned for Friday before facing a weekend full of match action in which UD Almería will play two friendlies against Atlético Pulpileño and Águilas FC.
