Almería are convinced that they will tip the balance in their favour

The Rojiblancos are undertaking active recovery workouts and match scenarios for Sunday's game with character

The play-off tie for promotion to Primera between Almería and Girona will be decided this Sunday at Juegos Mediterráneos, where the visiting team will arrive with a slight advantage after the 1-0 result after playing the first leg at Montilivi .

The Rojiblancos are convinced that they will tip the balance in their favour, as in fact they have displayed in the afternoon training session carried out with character on Friday evening. Precisely, these aspects will be part of the strategy that will be presented to overcome the tie. With so little time between one match and another, recovery is an important factor, so the starters in Gerona exercised more gently than the rest of their team-mates, who did so with intensity. In any case, there was enough time to prepare the game and improve tactical dynamics, taking Thursday's match at Montilivi as a reference.

This Saturday, a last afternoon training session is also taking place at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium. José Gomes, Almería head coach, is confident of being able to recover some of the eight first-team players who are injured or feeling some discomfort, although it will not be known until the last moment.

Fernando, Francis Guerrero, Juan Ibiza, Jonathan Silva, Aguza, Kaptoum, Coric and Juan Muñoz did not travel to Girona in the end.
