Almeria Academy & Almeria Women sides to be presented during UD Almería vs Real Sociedad ‘B’
The 8 UD Almeria Academy sides and the 3 UD Almeria Women teams will take to the field of play at half-time
A total of 11 UD Almeria Academy and UD Almeria Women sides will be presented during half-time this Thursday in the UD Almeria vs Real Sociedad ‘B’ fixture (kick-off 6:45pm Spain Time). It is a way to keep alive an old tradition in every start of the championship and that in the past 2020/21 campaign could not be celebrated due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
The event will take place during the break of the next league meeting. There will be more than 200 players who will walk onto the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium pitch. The supporters in the stands will have the great opportunity to meet the men’s youth squads: the Almeria U12s group, the two Almeria U14s sides, the two Almeria U16s teams also the both Almeria U19s outfits. With regard to the girls’ squads, the latest created Almeria Women U16s and Almeria Women ‘B’ sides will also be introduced by the Club since the growth that UD Almería Women are currently experiencing has allowed the number of girls’ teams to be increased.
In the same way, Almeria ‘B’, who are competing in Tercera Division RFEF this season and the Almeria Women senior team who are participating in Primera Nacional women’s division for the third campaign in a row will also turn up on the pitch.
