The Power Horse Stadium hosts Spain U21 vs Belgium U21 this Tuesday

The Spanish team, with UD Almería players Marc Pubill named in the squad list, trained at the Stadium. The match is a qualifier for the 2025 Euro Cup (KO 7pm Spanish Time). Tickets are on sale at tickets.rfef.es

The Power Horse Stadium hosts this Tuesday (7pm Spanish Time) the international match between Spain U21 and Belgium U21. It is a vital match as it is a qualifier for the Euro 2025. Both teams come into this meeting tied on points (13), with the Spaniards being Group B leaders and the Belgians sitting third, although they have a more competitive match like second-placed Scotland U21, who will also be Spain U21's next rivals. 

The encounter is of the utmost importance for the aspirations of the Spanish players who will try to achieve victory to take a huge step forward on their way to the final phase of the 2025 U21 EURO. The Spanish squad have a combination of very well-known players in the first and second divisions, who are key in their respective teams. One of them is UD Almería right-back Marc Pubill, who is making his debut in the under-21s team. This Tuesday, he could become a starter after his brilliant performance, starting from the bench, in the friendly against Slovakia U21 played in Jerez de la Frontera last Thursday. 

Marc Pubill has been in he limelight upon the arrival of the national team to Almeria. There was great expectation at the airport, as well as at the national team hotel. This Monday afternoon, Spain U21 trained at the Power Horse Stadium which has been decorated for the occasion with the colors of Spain. 

Before this training session, national coach Santi Denia gave a press conference in which he praised Marc Pubill 'who has earned being in the call-up', in addition to emphasising: 'Almería brings back fond memories for me since last year I made my debut here with the under-21 team.'

In that match, the Power Horse Stadium recorded an attendance of more than 10,000 spectators. On this occasion, Spain U21 need the support of the UD Almería crowd. The seats, with affordable prices, are still on sale at tickets.rfef.es 

The match has been organised by the RFEF (Spanish Football Federation), with the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía regional government, the Almería City Council and UD Almería. The Club has made available its facilities and infrastructure for the European event.
