Alberto Lasarte: "It's a vital victory, but we have to keep working"

UD Almería 'B' head coach Alberto Lasarte has valued the crucial victory against Torreperogil and has commented on how he experienced this match. The head coach stressed: 'During the first half, we had control of the game, although it's true that we lacked depth at times. However, we managed to connect good passes and despite the fact that the rivals retreated in defence, little by little, we grew in the game and created opportunities, like Loren's, and finally Luis's goal, which put us ahead.'

As for the second half, Lasarte emphasised: 'I told my players to go for the second goal and try to put the game to bed and although we managed to do so with Cantón's goal, it's true that after wasting two clear chances to score the 0-3, we trailed 1-2, which made us a little nervous. However, we were able to extend our lead with the third goal and then the fourth.'

The Rojiblancos' gaffer highlighted the superiority shown by his team in the match and the importance of the victory to move up in the standings. 'It's a very important victory that allows us to move up one position and continue our growth,' he stated with conviction. 

Furthermore, he added: 'It's essential that we are able to mathematically secure our position and from there, continue progressing and seeking to reach even higher positions in the table.'
