7 UD Almería 'B' players join first-team training
Head coach Pepe Mel counts on UD Almería B youngsters due to the absence of the internationals, who have not returned from competing with their respective national teams yet
7 UD Almería 'B' players trained this Tuesday morning with the first team in the second training session of the week as they are gearing up for next Saturday's game (KO 4:15pm Spanish Time) against CA Osasuna at the Power Horse Stadium (Matchday 30/LaLiga EA Sports day).
Together with Marcos Peña, fully involved in professional training at the moment, Peñalver, Paco Sanz, Alex Mendes, Cantón, Loren and Ballestero have also been getting first-team experience. Pepe Mel has counted on the 'B' team players to compensate for the absences of the internationals, who have not yet returned from competing with their respective national teams: Marc Pubill (Spain U21), César Montes (Mexico), Baba (Ghana), Lopy (Senegal) and Choco Lozano (Honduras).
UD Almería have already begun to prepare the tactics for next Saturday's league meeting and the coaching staff was short of troops to be able to work properly. As it happened last Monday, Marezi has not been with the group either this Tuesday morning as he is recovering from some discomfort, although everything indicates that he will make it to the meeting.
There are still three more training sessions ahead.
