1-2: UD Almería come back from behind against FC Málaga City to secure play-offs

UD Almería 'B' picked up three huge points after their visit to FC Málaga City to mathematically secure play-offs for promotion to Segunda RFEF spot. The UD Almería Rojiblancos started by losing the match, but Rachad and René managed to turn the score around. 

The game was not going to start well at all for the Academy youth players who saw how in Nico gave  FC Málaga City the lead. However, the youthful Rojiblancos did not give up and in the 13th minute, Rachad grabbed the lever by taking advantage of a good solo play by Aarón down the left wing. From this tie on, the match entered a phase where, despite the chances, no side could unbalance the balance.

In the second half, that script remained the same until after the hour mark, it was then that the UD Almeria youngsters stepped up a gear and, in the 70th minute, after taking advantage of several loose balls within the area, René broke the deadlock 1-2. 

The Málaga-based outfit went all out on the attack in search of a shared of the spoils, yet it was closer to 1-3 with several opportunities from Loren and two goals, than a tie. 

With this victory, the UD Almería 'B' regained the third position after the defeat to CF Motril and also secured their presence in the promotion play-offs.
